I was so grateful to Lucy for checking over my rough first draft, I have been sick for the last three weeks so some of the sections were still in note form unfortunately. I would rather have given Lucy a full first draft to check over but the feedback was still very helpful. The main points were:
- Break longer sentences down
- Prioritise analysis and findings – Showcase and highlight original contributions
- Specific examples of primary research where I can thoroughly apply the theoretical ideas and generate deep and detailed analysis
- Reword to be less passive and in the style of an abstract as opposed to a intro.
I’m aiming to have the first draft fully completed in the first week of Jan, so that I can send it to Lucy and refine once more before the deadline on the 14th.
