Itai told me to have a look at Cindy Sherman’s Instagram – I can’t believe I have never seen this! I have loved Sherman’s portrait work for years and love the exploration of identity, character and societal ideals / constructs. Digitally modified with playful humorous elements, the artist’s work is an exploration of the increasingly absurd modern-day capability to create cyber-personas completely at odds with one’s real person.
