In this tutorial with Lucy, I went over the recent developments of my project as I hadn’t spoke to her since I started my tutorials with Kelly. I explained that I had refined my area of research and had ironed out the issues I had with using loaded words like ‘Identity’ and ‘Beauty’.
I prepared a brief structural plan for my thesis based on what Kelly and I discussed last week, lucy suggested I add a brief project development section as a critical reflection.
I explained that I had massively narrowed down the authors I was examining in my research (eliminating Haraway and Foucault) although Lucy suggested that I didn’t need to fully eliminate them as such, I could demonstrate my understanding by highlighting any contradictions and pointing out the complexities int he arguments – I will bear this in mind.
