I’ve been writing up my ethnographic observations and have been conducting cluster analysis on the findings, where I identify various trends and compare these to literary findings and other aspects of my methodology.
A big thing that came out of this is that I feel I need to conduct more Practice based research in response to my findings (with a particular focus on Instagram face, Alien beauty and the performative gestures and actions Gen Z are doing on Instagram).
Otherwise, I feel the ethnography will be mainly visual (which counteracts the experience I aim to explore) and the process involved will not be fully analysed.
