Now that I have my script constructed and I have established my methodology for the project which is now underway, I realised I haven’t yet specifically looked into how I will analyse the findings.
I’ve now read lots of papers on how to analyse social media spaces utilising ethnography.
The main points I would like to further examine are; How can I analyse the images beyond textual analysis? (think of Hall’s denotation / connotation). – This is part of the reason why a mixed methodology is a good way to address this.
I will analyse the data primarily by focusing on TRENDS and REOCCURRING THEMES.
