Alongside my research into media theory, I’m still gathering visual references for the film, Grimes’ music video and the combination of 3D and physical elements is really lovely, I will need to establish If I am going to get a collaborator for this speculative project to do the 3D aspects.

Uncanny valley with reference to the ‘real church’ and the ‘fake church’ and the girls dancing versus 3D models of the girls dancing. That is a meditation on the nature of violence – by removing our physicality, you start to consider, ‘can violence be translated into the digital realm?’

Grimes referenced this video for audio and visual inspiration for all her work, which I loved, I’m trying to expand my research beyond western parameters so this bollywood film is very useful!!
