This campaign is for a ‘microbiome self-portrait’ which is personalised and responsive to your own needs. Inspired by the concept that physical health is becoming equated with beauty, the physical representation of health is a small box which represents your gut health, indicative of overall health. A sort of modern apothecary, the product responds in real time and is unique for each user. Through swallowing a bio-sensor which coats your gut with sensory material, your microbiome self-portrait will be printed and shipped to your door (make sure to choose from the flower and fruit options online and select your custom measurements).

Using photogrammetry to create the various models and exploring traditional still life paintings and ideas of self-portraiture, the campaigns will be as photorealistic as possible.

As a result of research exploring future societies and generational attitudes shifting, reflecting the growing concern with sustainability and personalisation as well as at home products and the rise of skincare at a genetic level.

The audience is mainly Gen Z and other demographics concerned with notions of sustainability, wellness, natural beauty origins (including biotechnology and new definitions of natural), geographical beauty origins, personalisation and traceable supply chains.
