Covid-19 Webinar – The Future Laboratory.

In an attempt to explore how covid-19 has influenced societal trends, I attended The Future Laboratory’s webinar where they identified rises in certain societal patterns and what that means for brands. I love this way of thinking and it is really helping me to develop my advertisement concepts. I am interested in the new values and behaviours which are emerging and I find it helpful to layout micro and macro trends for new consumer behaviours. Three sections which influenced me the most (notes below) were; Wellness and Beauty, Food and Drink and Media and Entertainment. I want to expand on the internet as a consultation tool as well as virtual social gatherings and the concept of the ‘zoom hangover’.
