Inspired by The Future of Fashion Media Lecture the other day, I looked into an artist that Aleksandra suggested and have been very inspired by. Jasna speaks about her work being done on the intersection of fashion, technology and science, which is similar to me but with Beauty. The idea of designing for the future is something that seems to be driving my interest at the moment, I have been constantly asking myself why I create and who it is for and I think the answer could like in future societies.
I also became interested in the website The Fabricant which is a Digital Fashion House creating digital experiences on the intersection of fashion and technology. Their website states, ‘We develop end-to-end 3D narratives for customers and consumers, from concept to implementation.’ I loved the campaign they did for Puma and would love to create a natural landscape in a digital way like this.
The Fabricant recently ran a campaign where any user with a webcam could log on and have their face 3D scanner and a digital avatar could be created. Above is mine and my sisters, the uncanny valley aspect kind of scares me but I like the concept.

I am also loving all the virtual exhibitions that are going on because of the lockdown, it is interesting to see what is lost by the digital experience and what is gained, but this is something I would like to replicate.
