I have been putting this off for a while as I am not very technologically advanced and 3D digital work can overwhelm me (I only learnt how to use Photoshop and Final Cut this year). I wanted to create a short 3D animation of mirrored spheres popping out to form a bigger sphere (inspired by Dazed Beauty) I followed multiple different tutorials on how to structure, animate and colourize and was quite happy with it until it rendered all black.
After taking with my course-mate Jess, I now realise that you have to treat the programme completely differently from programmes like photoshop. You have to light the object and apply cameras to angle it correctly. I will try again but am not sure if this is the right path for me to go down as it is time consuming and I prefer the conceptual/ practical aspect of creating and directing.
