I sent out my proposals to the BA Hair, Make-Up and Prosthetics for Performance students after realising that I need to push on with developing a network of collaborators and create more experimental work for development. I was so surprised that I had about 4o responses, but this gave me an interesting insight into finding collaborators who share my vision. I interviewed 5 of the applicants rather informally and explained that I was looking for a long-term collaborator who wanted to explore themes of beauty, technology and the combination of classic imagery with futurism. I found the perfect collaborator in Abbie who is interested in very similar themes and connected with me instantly. After taking more with Abbie about make up, prosthetics and beauty styling I have developed a more focused mood board for the shoot.
