I attended an Event at Moseley Road Baths as part of my residency there. It was quite hard to document as recording was prohibited during the screening of ‘Easy to Love’ and the sound was very echoey with so many people. However I asked the official photographer Katja Ogrin to send me some pictures of people watching the film in the water and the synchronised dancers who performed before the screening. It was really magical, the environment itself was humid, the film reflected off the glittering water, the pink neon light was transformative and to watch the viewers float on the water was really special!
If I had more time, I would use neon lights for my film as it really transformed the space into a fantasy, I enquired about the lights but they were hired and installed by a separate company and the cost is out of my budget.
