So far i’ve had several responses from designers I contacted to feature in my film, there are two who I am exploring further, to see which is the most suitable. RUI ZHOU who is based in New York and Shanghai, I contacted her as her garments explore movement and the body. The way they are constructed; tight and stretchy with rips, holes and wire hems reminded me of other worldly creatures and warriors (femme fatales) yet was suitable for swimming in. The colour palette is very neutral which ties in with my exploration of nature.
