Characterised by women, romance and exotic locations, Prins says her work is about her ‘passion for the female body, sexuality and sensuality’. She likes to play between the idea of women as a symbol of innocence and as a sex symbol, creating tension in her work. Typically using friends as her models because it provides a more genuine and sincere result, she also creates intimate self-portraits.
